Charge.
Amp-hours measure charge capacity. A 6Ah rating is roughly six amps for an hour under its rated conditions—not a promise of tool runtime.
THE ENGINEER BEHIND AMPED ACRE
Better battery math. More confident purchases.
I work with batteries and power sources for a living. I love what electrons can do. Vague equipment specs? Not so much.
I built Amped Acre to turn published ratings into practical estimates: which tool, which batteries, and enough energy to finish your job.

Voltage × Ah estimates watt-hours. EGO lists its 56V, 10Ah battery at 560Wh. That common platform makes useful comparisons possible.
Power is how fast energy is used. Load, motor design, and controls matter; voltage alone doesn’t tell you torque or runtime.
EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium system shares batteries across its tools. Compatibility doesn’t mean every pack will finish every job. That’s the question these calculators help answer.
These are independent estimates, not lab-tested results. Snow, temperature, battery condition, and technique can change the outcome.
